In 2018 I finished my B.Sc. in Psychology with a thesis about outcome predicting factors for PTSD at the Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg. After that I started collecting scientific experience with behavioral settings and gene expression analysis in a project investigating neuronal correlates of sex differences in anxiety diseases. Specifically, I’m working with a knock-out mouse model of heightened stress susceptibility.
Starting human medical studies in 2019, I am currently expanding my project by investigating sex differences on interneurons using immunohistochemistry for my M.D. thesis.
