I graduated from the Biotechnological Gymnasium in Lörrach in 2016. Following a year of community service, I decided to pursue a career in biology instead of social work. From 2017 to 2021, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), focusing on zoology for my thesis: The Influence of VEGFA and its Receptors on Neuronal Cell Population in Spinal Cord Regeneration in Zebrafish.

I continued my studies at KIT, earning a Master’s degree in Biology (2021–2024) with a focus on molecular biology, botany, and zoology. My Master’s thesis examined The Role of Angiopoietin2b in the Development of Retinal Blood Vessels in Zebrafish.

Since October 2024, I have been working at the Institute of Anatomy at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, where I teach macroscopic anatomy and neuroanatomy. My research focuses on NPY modulation at the perivascular unit during chronic social stress.
